Junior I.T. Support

The Job:

To maintain effective performance of a multinational company’s network, servers, internet and email, backup and resets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for managing user accounts, shared folders and resolving hardware/software issues across the company, ensuring maximum responsiveness
  • Ensure effective operation and maintenance of web server
  • Manage technical infrastructure successfully and ensure speedy user access
  • Provide general troubleshooting and resolve issues regarding MS Office, Lotus notes and other proprietary software applications
  • Assist in software development, applications testing, program modification and documentation, and conduct training programs.
  • Configure network settings for VOIP phones and video conferencing kits

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 2 years proven Helpdesk experience
  • Proficiency and familiarity with various software packages and LANs
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
  • Good technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Willing to travel
  • Basic knowledge of internet protocols and client configurations
  • A team player and able to work under pressure
