Telecommunications Engineer

The Job:

To manage the Telephony assets and personnel of a multinational company.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Observing, resolving or scheduling corrective actions at all levels from PC/Desk phone to server/router/switch
  • Make routine administrational changes to services eg: agent and queue maintenance on telephone switches
  • Control of internal moves from a telephony perspective
  • Liaising with other departments

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of IP telephony platforms
  • Experience in telephony from traditional PABX to modern IP based solutions
  • Experience in switching or computer telephony applications
  • Good written and communication skills
  • A positive, selfless and committed team player
  • Able to work independently under tight schedules
