Scope of Service
U-Com Systems shall, upon request from Client and subject to the availability of personnel, supply suitable candidates to consult with the Client’s requirement.
That the rates, terms and conditions as specified in this agreement are not binding unless and until the recommended candidate(s) has (have) entered into contract with the Client.
That all introductions are confidential and shall be valid for 12 months from the date of introduction (i.e. from the date the curriculum vitae is presented to the Client). The Client shall observe that, should the candidate(s) gain employment with the client within such time frame, U-COM shall treat it as a placement. The client shall observe the confidentiality of the candidate(s) and refrain from referring candidate(s) information to other companies or associates that may result in an employment dispute and/or having a detrimental effect to the candidate(s) profile.
That both parties shall hold in confidence and secrecy all information, written or oral, disclosed by the other party in connection with its obligations under this Agreement.
That U-COM reserves all rights to amend this agreement with a written notice of thirty (30) days.

Rates, Terms and Conditions
CONTRACT SERVICES
For contract services, U-COM will assign its staff to work in your organization for a fixed term. The monthly chargeable rate will depend on the expertise required and the task to be performed. A copy of our standard service agreement will be available on request.
PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT CONSULTING SERVICES
Our professional recruitment-consulting fee is 15% of the candidate’s annual remuneration package.* The client will be invoiced only after the appointed candidate(s) has presented himself/ herself for work. Full payment however is expected from the client within 14 days from our invoice date.
*Inclusive of contractual bonus and fixed allowances/ commissions, etc.
In compliance to Section 10(2) of the Service Tax Act 1975, all employment related services are subject to a 5% Service Tax effective 1st January 1998.

Warranty
In the event of non-performance by any of its candidate(s) within a stipulated 3 months period, U-COM undertakes to replace candidate(s) of similar calibre at no extra cost to the client (only one replacement per candidate).
However, if no suitable replacement(s) could be found within a period of forty-five (45) days, or as otherwise indicated by the Client, whichever is longer, U-COM will refund the professional fee based on its staggered refund system as indicated below:
